Maple Lodge Campsite is Phasmophobia’s first outdoor map and packs in everything you could possibly hope for in a spooky holiday retreat, including picnic areas, tents, a log cabin, and even a haunted lake. Developer Kinetic Games says the new map features “more unique objects, higher object density and more visual detail”, and that players can expect other maps to receive a similar boost in detail, plus more unique objects, at a later date....

Trusty steed Roach can now be petted, and former Geralt actor Henry Cavill’s pet dog has a short cameo. But another Easter egg discovered by players isn’t as easy to solve as those. The reference can be found at Destroyed Bastion in Velen, where three small ruins now have switches on their walls. Flipping the switches causes an Earth Elemental to spawn, and once it’s been killed a portal will appear....

I’ve already reported how the cyberpunk twin-stick shooter’s latest patch negatively affected the Windows 10 version of the game, with stuttering, poor framerate and other technical struggles experienced by players. Majo, an ex-PlayStation IT analyst, initially filed a suit against the company last November, claiming, among other things, that PlayStation paid women less than men in similar jobs, that women were denied promotions, and that she was wrongfully fired “soon after” submitting a signed statement to Sony in 2021 detailing the alleged gender bias she had experienced. Those initial claims were supported by a raft of new allegations in March, when eight more PlayStation employees, past and present, submitted statements alleging sexual harassment, bullying, gender bias, and an inability to properly investigate these issues at the company....

The Hisui Cup is a limited-time event in Pokémon Go’s Go Battle League. It runs from Wednesday 27th June 2022 until 2nd August 2022. To make things even more exciting, new eligible Pokémon have been released as part of the Hisuian Discoveries event. Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Sneasel and Hisuian Qwilfish can all be added to your Pokédex for the first time and compete in the Hisui Cup. To spice the Go Battle League in Pokémon Go up, and provide you with a bit of a challenge, the Hisui Cup has several restrictions which must abide if you want to partake in it....

Seven-year-old pup Sophie and her trainer (or should that be Trainer, as we are talking Pokémon here) Jenny took part in the Freestyle Heelwork to Music Competition last week. The duo told a story through their choreography, with Sophie the chihuahua taking on the star role of Pikachu. Meanwhile, Jenny donned the blue shirt and baseball cap of Ash. Together the twosome showed off their fancy footwork while unearthing a Bulbasaur in the bushes and beating a Charizard in battle....

Announced at the Pokémon Direct at the weekend, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be released later this year. The new trailer introduced the three starter Pokémon we’ll be able to choose from, namely Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Already, social media has been awash with fan art and memes depicting these brand new ‘mon. With its terracotta villas, sunny climate, and starter names, many fans are speculating these two new entries in the series will be based in a Spanish-influenced region, much like Sword and Shield’s Galar was influenced by the UK....
