Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals was announced during this evening’s Nintendo Indie Direct, and it’ll launch for Switch in 2021 (and other platforms such as Steam too). Oxenfree 2’s announcement comes a welcome surprise - it’s been five years since the original Oxenfree launched and its developer has since been busy with other projects, such as its drunk-in-hell adventure Afterparty and a Mr Robot spin-off. More to the point - without spoiling anything - the original Oxenfree offered multiple ending paths depending on your choices throughout the game....

Called Guns Undarkness, it will be a turn-based tactical RPG with stealth elements inspired by Persona and Metal Gear Solid. Each week, you’ll be able to sign up to a challenge goal to hit solo or with friends. This week will see the options of 50,000 or 100,000 steps. You’ll be able to start the challenge via a new widget in the app’s home screen, and select in-game friends to join in with you. Progress through the week then updates in real-time, with individual contributions shown in a meter. Completing the weekly challenge will reward you with various nectars, with rarer nectar available from finishing the tougher challenge option....

The Grasslands Animal Pack is Planet Zoo’s fourth paid expansion this year, and its 12th expansion since releasing in 2019. It introduces eight new exhibit creatures with a loose theme of “steppes, plains and prairies”, alongside a new Career Mode scenario. On the animal front, Grasslands purchasers will gain access to the nine-banded armadillo, the maned wolf, the emu, the caracal, the red-necked wallaby, the striped hyena, and the blue wildebeest....

The footage finds Cacioppo, wearing a “PS5” T-shirt, in front of his house at nighttime, apparently ready to meet the person approaching him. Hetherington was a founder of Imagine Software, Pysgnosis and Evolution Studios, and worked on games such as WipEout, Lemmings and Shadow of the Beast.
