Mediatonic unveiled one of these levels, the 60-player Skyline Stumble, last week, offering a chaotic look at its “Low Gravity Zones, Forcefields, Flippity Bippities, Chonky Buttons, and Spicy Light Swingers”....

The funeral for the live-service was announced last week to celebrate one year since the game was “abandoned” by Rockstar Games, with little new content added over the past 12 months. Journey through their interwoven fates in this sweeping melodrama.” Final Fantasy 6, which originally released for Super Nintendo back in 1994, will receive a pretty much identical pixel remaster treatment to previous games in the series, meaning fans can expect updated 2D pixel character and background art, a rearranged soundtrack (overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu), improved gameplay - including a modernised UI and auto-battle options - plus a range of quality of life additions....

Now one fan has recreated the game with the classic fixed camera of the PS1 original. So far it’s just a proof of concept rather than a full mod, but the video creation from Final FanTV shows what the original might look like with the graphics of the remake. In particular, it shows how remarkably faithful the remake is and includes a side-by-side comparison. With a zoomed out camera, it’s clear how the layouts of environments are often near identical....

World Update 3, which continues the impressive work seen in previous makeovers for the United States and Japan, had previously been given a slightly delayed launch window of 9th-11th February by developer Asobo as it attempted to address teething troubles relating to the integration of new photogrammetry city data into the game. While the studio didn’t indicate the reason for today’s additional delay, it did confirm that World Update 3 is now “in its final polish phase” and that its launch has been “locked in” for 16th February....

Need for Speed Mobile, as per a series of job listings spotted earlier this year, currently appears to be in development at Tencent’s Timi Studio, which has also worked on the enormously popular Call of Duty Mobile and Pokémon Unite. EA is yet to officially unveil a new Need for Speed mobile project, however, meaning the leaked footage - shared on the Need for Speed subreddit earlier today - is the first opportunity many will have had to see the game in action....

Such as the past few weeks, the first quest in this set involves using one of the payphones across the Fortnite map, and it’s followed with the task to collect an access card from an IO guard. Now, you’ll have to plant wiretaps at different key locations. The messaging is important since, even though there are different spots in each location, you can only plant one in each. This means that you’ll actually need to repeat this action two more times on different places, unlike past challenges where you could just do it all at once....

This quest line involves hunting down information on the new monster invading the island - called the Caretaker - which involves studying the Caretaker’s footprints. First, however, you need to know Ariana Grande’s location, so you can begin the questline. Completing each of Ariana Grande’s quests for the first time will reward you with 30k XP, which will help you earn Battle Stars for the Season 8 Battle Pass. You’ll also earn a small amount of XP if you decide to repeat any of these quests....
