Originally known as PUBG Project Thai, PUBG Lite is a low-spec version of PUBG that allows players with basic PCs and laptops to access the game. It was first trialled in Thailand, before rolling out to other territories a couple of years back. Now, however, the free-to-play game is being shut down on 29th April. No reason was given for the decision. “We are deeply grateful for the passion and support from the astounding number of PUBG Lite fans that have been with us,” a statement on the official website explains....

Super Mario 3D All-Stars contains Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy for £49.99/$59.99. We feel Mario Galaxy 2 has been unfairly left out, there. The games haven’t been fully remastered but simply optimised for the new console with higher resolutions, new screen ratios and added Joy-Con support. One other important but strange caveat, Nintendo also announced that Super Mario 3D All-Stars will be available both physically and digitally as a limited run until March 2021....

Instead of a fully motion controlled Agent 47 and a sharper, detailed and more interactive game world, what we actually have here seems to be little more than a port of the PSVR version. With an extra arm thrown in for good measure. Don’t get me wrong, just like on the PSVR it’s still incredibly fun to play and the sandbox levels are a joy to inhabit and run riot in; but in terms of living up to the expectations set by the PC VR owners who were eagerly awaiting it, it’s bound to be seen as a mission failure....
