The marketing for Arceus has been eye-catching for sure. However, the latest trailer may just be Pokémon’s most unusual yet. Taking place in a spoof Antiques Roadshow setup, the clip shows a man offering up a Pokéball for valuation. However, things soon go from serene to surreal when the antiques expert decides to take a closer at the Pokéball artifact, and in doing so unleashes a Basculegion into the crowd....

The developer tweeted out the tease along with a TikTok video that’s since been removed, though shared elsewhere. The video appears to be of a museum, with busts of various creatures from within the game. Previous games in the series have included an Insomniac Museum hidden away. It first appeared in Going Commando and was only accessible through a specific portal at 3am. Players could explore a recreation of the Insomniac office with developer commentary....

Fan project Bloodborne Kart is coming from game dev Lilith Walther, the brains behind the PS1 inspired Bloodborne demake (check out our Ian giving this demake a go below). Announcing their latest endeavour on Twitter, Walther said, “It’s happening, Bloodborne Kart is real and will be coming out as soon as it’s ready!” To accompany this announcement, Walther shared a short teaser of what fans can expect on the game’s eventual release....

As well as the monthly event’s typical in-game bonuses and good chances at catching a Deino’s Shiny version, developer Niantic is also using the event to roll-out a couple of brand new features. In a twist, players will be able to extend the event’s three-hour runtime in their local area by raiding at gyms after the 11am-2pm window concludes. Jurassic World Evolution 2’s Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack (not to be confused with last year’s Early Cretaceous Pack) is available now on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, adding two new dinosaurs - one courtesy of Dr. Henry Wu - two new herbivore variants, and eight skins. On the hybrid front, Dr. Wu’s scientific meddling has wrought the Scorpios rex (featuring “blood-red eyes, charcoal-black scales, prominent spikes, and jagged, uneven teeth”), and the pack also brings the Monolophosaurus - a medium-sized carnivore from the mid-Jurassic period....

Titled as Judas and set for launch at some point in the future on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game is the first to come from Levine’s studio Ghost Story Games since he shut down his former studio Irrational Games after shipping BioShock Infinite. A brief first look at Judas featured many familiar elements for BioShock fans: elemental powers conjured from your fingertips, twisted Americana designs, creepy robots… Introducing the project tonight at The Game Awards 2022, host Geoff Keighley noted that he had played several hours of the game already and that the trailer provided an accurate portrayal of what it would be like - although there are also elements of its narrative gameplay yet to be revealed....

Speaking to VGC, senior narrative designer Eevi Korhonen discussed the future of the studio and whether the story of Selene was finished. “Returnal was so ambitious,” Korhonen said. “We dreamt super big, but we still had to leave so much on the cutting room floor. All of these ideas and narrative systems. I’m super excited to pick up those pieces and see how those fit our new IP story.” When asked if the story of Selene was finished, she said: “I can’t comment on that too much....

Expect Lego set reveals for video game franchises such as Minecraft and Super Mario, as well as other top-selling ranges like Harry Potter, Technic, Star Wars and Dots. We already know Lego Super Luigi will launch on 1st August, so we’re likely to see what’s next for the range - and presumably the next vast wave of accompanying bits and pieces due alongside Mario’s brother. Lego video game fans have been waiting a long, long time to hear more on the promising-looking but continually-delayed Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - though it sounds like we may finally see it again during the stream....

Either way, Google, ever desperate to prove Stadia is still alive and kicking, is offering new LG TV owners a free three-month subscription to Stadia Pro. The Stadia app launched last year on LG TVs and supports any model from 2020 onwards. As for Stadia Pro, there are some pretty solid games in the library, including Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Village, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Hitman 3 and Baldur’s Gate 3....

Well, now we have another leak, and it appears that more unexpected characters will also be joining the brawler further down the road. In this case, voice lines for both The Wizard of Oz’s Wicked Witch of the West and BeetleJuice have been found in the game’s files. As shared by MultiVersus Twitter user AisulMV (the same leaker who discovered hints about a potential feature which will allow players to share their battle pass progress), the lines of dialogue found appear to be setting MultiVersus up for a spooky season....

Street Fighter’s Ryu and Chun-Li will - following cameos from Master Chief and God of War’s Kratos last year - be appearing in Fortnite from tomorrow, 20th February, at 7pm PT (that’s midnight in the UK). That’s according to leaked assets that relate to this season’s next in-game portal - a window to another dimension in the growing Fortnite multiverse which heralds the arrival of a new franchise collaboration....

The game previously had a demo shortly before it released on 10th June, but required a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The new demo is free to download for all Switch owners.
